Auvia ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your personal data. This policy describes what data we collect, why, and your rights under the GDPR and applicable Irish data-protection law.

Account data — email address, display name, hashed password (via Supabase Auth).
Usage data — songs played, playlists created, search queries, timestamps.
Payment data — transactions are processed by Paddle or PayPal; we do not store card details.
Artist data — uploaded audio files, lyrics, cover art, payout requests and PayPal email.
Advertiser data — uploaded ad audio, campaign settings, credit transactions.
Technical data — IP address, browser type, referring URL, aggregated analytics.
Contract performance (account, streaming, payouts), legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, analytics), consent (optional cookies), and legal obligation (tax records).
To provide and improve the Service; personalise recommendations; process payments and payouts; run advertising campaigns; comply with legal obligations; send transactional and, where consented, marketing communications.
We share data with: Supabase (database/auth, EU infrastructure); Paddle (payment processing, EU/US); Vercel (hosting, US — covered by SCCs); and PayPal (payout processing). We do not sell your personal data.
Account data is retained while your account is active and for 2 years after deletion for legal purposes. Transaction records are retained for 7 years (Irish tax law). Stream history is retained for 3 years.
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, port, restrict processing of, or object to the processing of your personal data. To exercise any right, email privacy@auvia.app. You may also lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Commission (Ireland).

We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us immediately.
We will notify you of material changes via email or a prominent in-app notice at least 30 days before they take effect.
